I think that the internet is useful for our lives. It offers a vast amount of information. Thanks to the internet, I can connect with my friends and family, make research on my school projects and watch videos related to my studies. The internet provides a wealth of resources, but it’s important to be mindful of our internet usage. Spending excessive time online can be unproductive.

Feedback: Dear students, you have to be aware of sentence structure, some sentences can be improved by combining them or adding transitions. Also, you have to pay attention to the presentation of the ideas.

Activity 02:

  1. Last week, I Played football.

  2. I visited my grandmother in Oran many times last summer.

  3. My mother cooked a very delicious dinner.

  4. I spent my vacation last year in Annaba.

  5. My sister felt sick and she is in the hospital.

Activity 03:

  1. The phone is one of the most important inventions because it revolutionized communication and allow people to contact across long distances. Modern smartphones also offer access to the internet, provide information and helpful services. Phones are helpful for the human being, it saves time and makes life easier for people.

  2. These inventions have changed the way we live. The telephone makes communication possible and easy for people. The internet has connected people and information globally. Inventions like cars, bus and airplanes have made travel faster. Medical inventions like vaccines and antibiotics improved public health and increased life expectancy. Also, washing machines and microwaves, have streamlined daily tasks and saves times for people.

Activity 05:

Social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram are popular among teenagers. The last has positive and negative sides. First, these platforms facilitate communication, help teenagers to connect with friends and family, and access educational content. In addition, social media are helpful for teenagers to be aware of daily events and news. Second, the last can expose unrealistic beauty standards and lead to mental health problems like depression. Also, excessive use can result addiction and make them fail in their academic performance.

Feedback: Dear students, be careful on sentence structure, avoid repetition of ideas, the choose of the suitable verbs and respect the punctuations rules.

Activity 06:

  1. The internet has both positive and negative advantages.

  2. Algeria has both renewable and non- renewable energies and it contains natural resources.

  3. Sarra studies hard so as to pass the exam.

  4. She has to study, or she will fail.

  5. The trader speaks politely with customers so as to satisfy them.

  6. She speaks neither English nor French.
